SIMPLE BUT SWEET
Good Afternoon! Is your head hurting? Are you staring at the left over pizza from last night? if so, you have probably made the most of the bank holiday weekend eh? I was up bright and early this morning feeling fresh as a daisy as I spent my Sunday recovering a hangover from Saturday night. Bank holiday Monday doesn’t affect me because Mondays are my day off anyway! but hey ho it’s lovely just to be able to chill out and do nothing all day.. until you want some tasty snacks… and your local store ISN’T OPEN! bugger.
Today is my last post. Joking, of course! But it is my final post featuring The White Pepper and it’s been a lovely little journey sharing my outfits with you but after today it’s back to normal ootd malarky. Anyway lets talk about these wonderful culottes! I love how simple they are with the little ruffle detail along the pockets! I have paired them with The White Pepper patch cropped shirt but you could wear them with a stripe Breton T and some Birkenstocks for warmer days or throw on a navy jumper and trainers for the cooler days. I think they are an easy piece to mix and match with because of the simple detail and shape and the red will give a pop of colour to any outfit. To finish my look off I wore my newspaper boy cap and my Adidas Gazelles #hooligan
So yeah, if ya fancy grabbing your hands on and styling these cool lil culottes out, go grab them now while they are half price!

GET SUMMER READY
Hey sunshine babies! I thought I would do a summery post to relate to the Manchester weather, how lovely has the past few days been!? Sadly, it never lasts so enjoy it while it’s still here. Firstly I want to thank Hayley Sellers for being amazing and taking these beautiful photos. You can find her instagram here go go go!
I have to say this is my favourite outfit for The White Pepper, I love the summer vibes it has with the bright colours and the quirky lil briefcase. The briefcase has been in the family for years and it was finally passed down to me a few years ago. I use it every summer for my travels but mainly to carry the 5 pairs of shoes that I never actually end up wearing!
The White Pepper knit I just luuurrrrrrrv! It’s a thin knit in a T-shirt style so it’s suitable to wear for the spring but also takes you through to the summer (if your someone who is a mard and is always cold like me) It’s a really vibrant pink colour with a cute little rainbow on the front which makes it even more adorable! because who doesn’t like rainbows? I paired the knit with a denim button down A-line, a skirt that literally goes with mostly everything but you could also wear it with some cropped denim kick flares or cut off shorts. Denim is always a must have during spring/summer and it goes nicely paired with lighter shades. To finish the look I wore white jelly shoes which take me back to the 90’s every time I wear them and a pair of love heart sunglasses to add that extra bit of summer lovin’

DARING DOUBLE DENIM
Good Morning! I hope your coffee is strong and that your Thursday morning isn’t too gloomy, hang in there! it’s nearly Friday! When I was asked to pick a few items from the The White Pepper SS16 collection this jacket was the first thing that caught my eye. If it’s denim and frilly then I want it! It also has these cute little patches on the back that are just adorable and give the jacket some quirkiness to it. The jacket can be worn as a jacket (of course) but also has shirty vibes when closed, as seen in the pictures above.
I styled the jacket with a pair of Levi denim flares. DUN DUNN DUNNNN… I know, i’ve gone and dared the double denim! Something I have never done before and to be fair I think I did ok right? I don’t even know the rules when it comes to double denim because it’s never been something that I’ve wanted to experiment with but my aim was to avoid looking like a middle aged mum so I went for a pair of jeans that were a similar shade to the jacket. To finish my look off I wore a fedora hat with a pointed boot for a western twist and a vibrant yellow bag for a pop of colour!
