Last week was mental health awareness week so I decided to write up a post about something I’ve struggled with and that is relationships. I’ve written this post hoping that people will be able to relate and not feel alone. It’s so important that we start speaking up about mental health instead of sweeping it under the mat. This blog has always been a space where I’ve spoken about my experiences and it feels so fab to get feedback and other people sharing their stories or relating to mine. A while ago I wrote a post about living and growing up on a council estate (read here) and the feedback was just amazing. It inspired me to write more about my personal experiences and how I’ve dealt with them.
So, we’ve all experienced heartbreak at some point in our life or even some of you may be going through it right now. The type of heartbreak that shatters you into 15427648274 pieces and you’re trying your best to put yourself back together but none of the pieces seem to fit. The type of heartbreak that leaves you crying for weeks, months, years! The type of heartbreak that makes you feel so many emotions you feel numb. The type of heartbreak that makes you feel like it’s the end of the world and that you will never find love again. I know this is starting to sound like the start of a rom com film but we’ve all been there! I’m glad to say I’m not in that misery anymore and this is why I’m wanting to share my whole experience with it (but pls feel free to still send chocolates, ice cream and flowers my way pls).
HUMANS HAVE LAYERS!
Ello again, so as I promised here is part 2 of my collaboration with Accessorize and this little camera bag is just the cutest thing ever! This bag is ready to take you into spring with its applique flowers and small compartments because all we need is our camera’s and a lipstick for lovely spring days right? The bag also comes in the colour cream and it definitely puts a key focus to any outfit. The bag comes with its original strap but I opted for the floral embroidered cream strap also from the Eclectic Bloom collection. It goes beautifully with the Navy bag and adds that extra detail. They also have a variety of super cute printed silk scarves that look great tied around the strap of the bag or just simply around the neck. SO, get yourself down to accessorize (or online) and purchase your bag of dreams OR even just to have a nosey and drool over the beautiful florals before they go, because I’m tellin ya they will!
Hello you! how are ya? I’ve been working on something with Accessorize and I’m so excited to let you in on what I’ve got up to. So last week the lovely team at Accessorize invited me into their new refurbished shop in the Manchester Arndale to view their also brand new collection ‘Eclectic Bloom’. The shop actually reminds me of one of those stores that you find abroad that sells all the beautiful jewellery and scarves, it has a lovely layout of perfectly stored pieces and the perfect lighting.
Hello alllll, hope you’re well. I’m currently hiding away in my favourite cafe (probs not the best place to hide haha) writing up some blog posts for you. I’m having one of them days where any socialising, communicating and talking is a no from me. I’ve got my builders brew, the tunes are on and I’m all by myself and pretty content about it, all I need now is a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign and my cat . January has been so cold and there’s no sign of warmer weather anytime soon. To be honest, all I can think about is that chicken broth waiting for me at home mmmm!
SIMPLE BUT SWEET
Good Afternoon! Is your head hurting? Are you staring at the left over pizza from last night? if so, you have probably made the most of the bank holiday weekend eh? I was up bright and early this morning feeling fresh as a daisy as I spent my Sunday recovering a hangover from Saturday night. Bank holiday Monday doesn’t affect me because Mondays are my day off anyway! but hey ho it’s lovely just to be able to chill out and do nothing all day.. until you want some tasty snacks… and your local store ISN’T OPEN! bugger.
Today is my last post. Joking, of course! But it is my final post featuring The White Pepper and it’s been a lovely little journey sharing my outfits with you but after today it’s back to normal ootd malarky. Anyway lets talk about these wonderful culottes! I love how simple they are with the little ruffle detail along the pockets! I have paired them with The White Pepper patch cropped shirt but you could wear them with a stripe Breton T and some Birkenstocks for warmer days or throw on a navy jumper and trainers for the cooler days. I think they are an easy piece to mix and match with because of the simple detail and shape and the red will give a pop of colour to any outfit. To finish my look off I wore my newspaper boy cap and my Adidas Gazelles #hooligan
So yeah, if ya fancy grabbing your hands on and styling these cool lil culottes out, go grab them now while they are half price!
