Starting university and what to expect from the blog

University starts on Monday and as excited as I am, I’m pretty damn nervous. It took me a whole year to decide whether I wanted to go back or not and I was still having doubts up until last week! I weighed the pros and cons and decided to go for it. My only one big worry is that I don’t know how I’ll manage my blog…Processed with VSCO with c1 presetProcessed with VSCO with c1 presetProcessed with VSCO with c1 presetProcessed with VSCO with c1 preset

JACKET – VINTAGE // TEE – NOBODYS CHILD // JEANS – ZARA (SOLD OUT) // BELT – ASOS // LOAFERS – PRIMARK (SIMILAR) // BAG – PAULS BOUTIQUE

I’m a person to get a little overwhelmed when it comes to doing too many things at once. I worry I won’t have time to myself to wind down and sometimes I need those days where I can just curl up in bed and watch shite on Netflix all day. Sometimes, my brain just needs a day of nothing! I know that my life is going to become super busy with a huge amount of workload and also my social life is going to play an important part at university! How am I going to do it all?! I don’t know, but I’m determined. It may take getting up 2 hours earlier than usual, turning down more collaborations, outbursts of crying and staying up later than usual but I suppose it’s something I will get used too and It will definitely pay off in the end.

I think University will open a lot of doors for me and it’s going to help a huge amount with my blog but who knows? My blog could grow even bigger and I might decide to take it on full time but time will only tell. So, what to expect from the blog? apart from less posts and complaining how tired and hungry I’ll be, nothing else will be changing much!

Good luck to those starting University this year and especially to those who are juggling a blog too!

  2. Hi Starr,
Over the last few years I have helped hundreds of students to progress onto university from the courses I teach on. You are going to have a wonderful time, if you need any help drop me an email. Good luck next week.
I now teach on Oxford Road, I may bump into you.
